Pgeon Express Acquires Assets From CJ Logistics For A Five-fold Expansion Drive

2017 was a big year for Pgeon with the launch of Pgeon Points carrying out the mission to ease the delivery journey of online sellers and online shoppers. Followed by Pgeon Delivery which aims to make delivery more convenient with the use of technology.

In these 4 years, all of us and Pgeonites have witnessed how fast Pgeon is growing. With all the sweat and hard work contributed by every Pgeon Hero paid off, we are glad to know that we have earned the trust and supports from the users and achieved an excellent 4.3 ratings on Google. 🚀

Asset Acquisition From CJ Logistics Express Malaysia

We always aim to support more SMEs and online sellers in providing them with the most hassle-free delivery and assisting them to grow their business.

With this in mind, today (7th October 2021), we have a big announcement to make: we are excited to announce that we have entered into an asset purchase agreement with CJ Logistics Express Malaysia Sdn Bhd to accomplish a bigger vision. 🚚 

Pgeon will acquire 326 units of commercial vehicles comprising mostly 1-tonners and 7 branches of CJ Logistics Express Malaysia. Besides, we will offer fresh employment to selected CJ Logistics’ employees too. 

With a total of 27 Pgeon hubs after the acquisition, we can foresee the coverage of Pgeon will grow even larger and it will strengthen the positioning of Pgeon in Malaysia.🤩 

Accelerated by the eCommerce boom, Pgeon has a bigger picture in mind – is to make most of the Malaysians get the coverage by Pgeon. To achieve this, we are planning to have 49 hubs by the end of 2021 to allow more users to have the chance to enjoy the affordable, yet reliable services provided by Pgeon. 

Scaling-up in the business with the asset acquisition from CJ Logistics Express Malaysia also means that it will increase the pick-up and delivery capacity by 5 times as well. With the speedy next day delivery provided by Pgeon, online sellers are now able to boost up more customer satisfaction.
