Since the beginning of the Movement Control Order (MCO), Pgeon has developed a number of safety precautions to ensure the welfare of our customers, employees and also community because your safety and health are our primary concern.
Standards of Procedure (SOP) Implemented
We have taken the following steps to protect the health and wellbeing of our customers and Abang Pgeon:
- Make sure all the transport and workplace are sanitized regularly
- Daily check on Abang Pgeon’s body temperature
- Abang Pgeon with mask on and sanitizes hands frequently
- Contactless Delivery – To avoid physical contact during pick up and drop-off
- Additional information on precautionary measures are placed at every hub to make sure all Abang Pgeon are practising good hygiene to reduce the risk of infection while continuing to serve our customers effectively.
Contactless Delivery
Following the launch of contactless delivery, social distancing has been practised by the sender, receiver and Abang Pgeon which includes:
- Abang Pgeon will call sender first upon arrival for shipment collection.
- Abang Pgeon will call receiver first upon arrival for shipment delivery.
- The sender needs to place the parcel in front of the premises first and Abang Pgeon will pick up from there.
- Abang Pgeon will drop off the parcel and wait for the receiver to collect the parcel from a minimum of 1-metre distance.
This arrangement serves to minimise physical contact and the risk of infection between our customers and Abang Pgeon.
