1.0 Coverage Limit
- The maximum coverage value of EasyCover is MYR 10,000 per parcel.
2.0 EasyCover Lost Parcel Report Time Frame
- All claims must be reported within the 15th till 21st day since the collection date. Otherwise, Pgeon and EasyParcel reserved the right to decline any report if the submission beyond the stated period above.
- Sales/Purchase Invoice must be included:
- Proof of Value (Item’s Value)
- Parcel Content (Item’s Description)
- Photo of parcel content and parcel packaging
- Police report (**Upon request only. Failure to provide required documents accurately will result in the claim being declined. We at EasyParcel reserved the right to request police reports as support evidence for your EasyCover claim submission. Applicable for any parcel value more than RM1000 or non-first timer with parcel value less than RM1000.)
4.0 Claim Processing Info
Payment:-
- Refund in EasyParcel credit: claim will be credited to your EasyParcel account instantly once it has been approved.
- Refund via bank transfer: claim will be transferred to your bank account within 7 – 14 working days once it has been approved.
- We take great pride in offering your parcel with extra protection. Full refund is guaranteed upon cancellation prior to shipment by the sender. Likewise, no refund will be given once the shipment is with the courier.
6.0 Excluded Events/Perils
- Loss or non-arrival of any parcel or the contents of said parcel which is:-
- Addressed, wrapped, or packed insufficiently, incorrectly or contrary to the parcel requirements of the carrier being used
- Bears a descriptive label or packaging describing the nature of the parcel’s contents.
- Loss or damage pertaining to failure of computer software and/or computer data.
- Loss, damage or liability, whether directly or indirectly, resulted from terrorism, war or strikes
- Any claim from Public Liability, Bailees, Consequences Loss, Product Liability & Business Interruption Liability
- Any claim arising from Radioactive Contamination, Chemical, Biological, Bio-Chemical and Electromagnetic Weapons
- Loss arising from Custom, Police or any government body detention
7.0 EasyCover void caused by
- Confiscation or Destruction under Customs Regulations
- Confiscation by any government or public authority
- Delay
- Dishonesty
- Hostile or Warlike Action (during peace and war)
- Illegal contraband
- Illegal Transportation of Trade
- Infidelity
- Inherent Vice
- Latent Defect
- Loss of Market
- Nuclear Exclusion
- Other Deterioration
- Remote or Consequential Loss
- Delivering the product to someone who obtains it by trick, false pretence, or other fraudulent schemes
8.0 Coverage Conditions
Against loss caused by or arising out of; a) hostile or warlike action in times of both peace and war, including action hindering, combating, or defending against an actual impending or expected attack; b) any weapon of combat employing atomic fission/fusion or any other radioactive force in times of both war and peace; c) insurrection, rebellion, revolution, civil war, usurped power, or action taken by government authority in hindering, combating or defending against such an occurrence, seizure or destruction under quarantine or customs regulations, confiscation by order of any government or public authority or risks of contraband or illegal transportation of trade. Nuclear Exclusion. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, it is hereby understood and agreed that this policy shall not apply to any loss resulting from, whether directly or indirectly, nuclear reaction, radiation, or radioactive contamination, no matter what its cause. It is warranted by the coverage that all parcels under this coverage will be shipped in accordance with all regulations of the carrier and amendments thereof.
The deductible, if any, shall be deducted from the amount of the claim or liability limit, whichever is less, on a “per parcel” basis and borne by the sender. The sender is responsible for (and entitled to) collecting any amount for which the carrier may be liable.

9.0 EasyCover – Fraud Policy
- By purchasing EasyCover, you certify that all information provided is accurate and truthful. Any fraudulent claim will make the shipper and/or consignee liable for prosecution for mail fraud under federal crime code.
